I didn't want our friendship to end.
I didn't expect you to distance yourself
I didn't want to lose another friend

I can't do anything now
It's time to walk away
We've been hurt too much
There's only one final thing to say

Do you know?
I've dreaded this moment for a long time
But I knew that eventually
That I would have to say this line

We promised we would do so much together
I guess we lied
Didn't we say "Friends Forever"?
Another friendship pushed to the side.

We don't "click" anymore
Let the misery end here

The ReasonIf there is never a dull moment with friends
Why are we also so silent?
If friends can tell if those close to them are lying
Why do you not notice I always keep the truth from you?

We say "Friends Forever!"
Does 'Forever' last a day?
Do you really want to know?
Why have those perfect memories faded away?
It was never cherished. Don't pretend to miss them now.

There's another thing I know, should I tell you?
This is not me.
This is who you wanted me to be.
Who am I?
You have no clue.

Voice goes unheard
I want to feel important despite,
My presence goes unnoticed
Ever since they left you, you changed

I Know I Can't WinOpen eyelids see,
sad morning light.
Haunted by hands,
by words,
tortured by night.
Bruises are covered,
by make-up and clothes.
Tears dry,
smiles lie,
so nobody will know.
Blood lost by blood-lust,
desire and despise.
Feeding,
delicious fear,
from innocent eyes.
Today becomes tomorrow,
and the next and the next.
Tormented hands,
and lips pray,
for a day of sweet rest.
No daylight nor nightfall,
forbids more disdain.
But lessons learned,
lessen,
the measure of pain.
Don't fight back... Don't complain.

Your Former AngelWatch these broken wings,
As they fall dawn to the floor.
I'm sorry, it's just that,
I'm not your Angel anymore.

See the blackened scars,
That stain this battered frame,
The marks of pure self hatred,
Oh, Isn't it a shame?!

See the rope burn round the throat,
That you once so gently kissed,
But you don't really care – do you?
This Angel won't be missed.

Don't you see you caused this,
By feeding me your lies,
Now you can stand and watch,

Tired of always crying myself to sleep
Sick of missing you so much each week.
Exhausted from pretending that I'm okay
Miserable from ignoring you every day.

This sorrow exhausts me to my core.

I just want to feel normal again.

Pretending we're fine isn't working

part of her was hidden away.
That small yearning to swoon
overwhelmed by heat of the day.

In the end you were meant to run

and protect your fragile heart.

I know how it is my dear,
to have that doubt making fear.
To see the infinite lies
and eventual demise.

making you an almost too accurate sleuth.

Will you finally see my plight,
Or simply sigh and call it a phase,
Or blame some other teen craze?

Departing the heavens
Flaming with anger
As It crashes down into the Earth.

It's anger is soothed by the sound of water
A new life? It remains curious
The Heavens chased It away
Yet the Earth welcomed It

The wind blows
Causing leaves to dance along with the breeze
Birds chirp to the tune
Bringing the atmosphere to life.

It likes It's new home
Home?
It never had a true home before
Could this finally be the sanctuary?

You're distancing yourself again
But I'm afraid she won't be following you this time
She can't 'Forgive and Forget'
She'll forgive because it's the right thing to do
But the scar will remain as a reminder

She doesn't want to be with the people who hurt her
Like you did
She doesn't want to get close to those who don't trust her
Like you do
She doesn't want to be betrayed again

Stop questioning her all the time
Maybe that's the reason she doesn't speak?
